DAVID * ** *** Commentaires généraux *** ** * Duplain Residence History Publié le 20 février 2017 par DoSwenor41 Joseph Duplain Sr. and Laurence (Rapp) were living near or on the corner of Crapps (Burgundy) and Lesseps when Joseph Valentin(e) Jr. was born. About 1861 they moved to 52 Poland Ave, between Royal and Dauphine until his death in 1870, Laurence continued to live their till at least 1875. She died in 1877 1867 - First address I have for J.V. Jr and Mary Duplain (Hopkins) is 44 Mazant between Royal and Dauphine 1870 - 54 Poland Ave. That was the year his father died (at 52 Poland) so probably moved there temporarily. 1871 to 1884 - Northside of Royal between Mazant and Bartholomew (possibly 4017 Royal) 1886 to 1890 - 106 Louisa between Rampart and St. Claude (now the 1000 block) 1891 to 1894 - 113 Louisa ' ' ' ' 1895 to 1904 - 3122 Burgundy, between Louisa and Clouet. J.V Jr. died in 1902 and Mary in 1904 1905 Two of their son's John and Charles moved to 3124 N. Rampart between Louisa and Clouet. Joseph, a policeman was living at 714 Alvar, between Royal and Dauphine. Don't know where grandma (Beatrice Lillian) and her sisters lived between that time and 1910, when grandma got married.
