GUILLAUME * ** *** Commentaires généraux *** ** * Document1 Document2 On Sunday morning Philomine Dimanche Beaujean died at her home in South Lee after a 3 year battle with breast cancer. Philomine was born near Belforte France and at the age of 10 (1892) she made her first of three journeys across the Atlantic with her parents. She was educated in France and lived a short while with her grandmother. Philomine married Celestin Pierre Beaujean also born in France and a veteran of the Franco-Prussian war on 17 April 1877 at the Baptist Church of State Line (Stockbridge Massachusetts) After their marriage the couple lived in Lee Massachusetts and added Alfred to their family. They moved on to West Cornwall Connecticut and welcomed Mary Rose and Jennifer. Next the family moved to Johnstown Pennsylvania where Albert was born. The family then returned to Lee Massachusetts where Augusta Emily Arthur Leona Arnold Charles Noel and Clara were born. Sadly Charles and Noel died as infants and are probably buried in Fairmount Cemetery. Philomine lived 40 years in South Lee Massachusetts. Philomine was a member of the Chapel of Good Sheppard in South Lee Massachusetts. Together with her husband Celestin Pierre Beaujean they raised 11 children. Celestin died in 1920. At the time of her death Philomine also had eight grandchildren and one great grandchild. Burial was in the family plot in Fairmount Cemetery.
