DAVID , melrupright * ** *** Commentaires généraux *** ** * xxxxx://www.findagrave.com/memorial/38775749/marie-odile-frane Journal Gazette obituary, p. 9 Column 4, Aug. 8 1923 Mrs. Mary Frane, 87, died yesterday afternoon at 4:35 o'clock at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Louise Niedermeyer, 426 Eckart street, following an illness of four days, due to complications. She was born in France and came to America at the age of 9 years and settled in Jefferson township with her parents. She had lived in this city for six years and was a member of St. Peter's Catholic church. Her husband, Frances Frane, died 43 years ago. Surviving are two sons, Charles and Lester Frane of Jefferson township, three daughters, Mrs. Jane Williams, Mrs. Frane (Niedermeyer), at whose home she died, and Mrs. Amelia Degitz, all of this city, two brothers, Frank and Victor Gremaux, of Jackson township, 28 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Thursday morning at 8:30 o'clock at the residence of the daughter and at 9 o'clock at St. Peter's Catholic church. Inscription: Mary Frane 1839 - 1923 Note: Headstone is a flat stone at ground level. Often overgrown w/grass.Not visible until grass/dirt cleared away.
