She did not revive from the shock noticed last week. She was 81 years old the day she died. She was married in France 57 years ago. In France she worked in an iron foundry. Her part being cutting threads on screws. When she was 22 years old she was the Champion wrestler in France. She having thrown the best man around. Nine years after they were married they with three children came to this country. They bought a farm in Little France and lived in an old tannery on the farm until they could build a log cabin. They lived in this cabin for 12 years then they built a big house. Three years ago they sold it to their sons Eugene and Joe. They moved into a small house belonging to their son Constant which was on the other side of the creek. When they came to this country the land was thickly wooded between Little France and Syracuse and Mrs. Pattat made many trips to the city and back in a day. One time she carried her 4 month old child and carried back a load of groceries as well as the child. She had taken it to the city to be Christened. The day before she was taken sick she was berrying in Alfred Jones wood lot and hoeing Constant Pattat's garden at 4 in the morning.
